Christmas Survey
Saw this on Rasha's blog & this is what She said and I thought I would do it out too. :)
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I use wrapping paper most of the time. Unwrapping is funner than looking in a bag!
2. Real tree or Artificial? I love real trees, but since I'm married and can't always get what I want we have a fake one.
3. When do you put up the tree? Most years it is the weekend after Thanksgiving, but this year it was in December.
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually New Year's Day or day after that if I'm not feeling well New Year's day..hehe
5. Do you like eggnog? NO! YUCK!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My very first Cabbage Patch Kid, but my see through phone is a close second. (does that date me..hahaha)
7. Do you have a nativity scene? No, but I would love to get one.
8. Hardest person to buy for? Lil Miss she's just so picky. Haha j/k I don't really have anyone.
9. Easiest person to buy for? They are all easy. lol
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Definitely mail, but this year it wasn't in the budget.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? My Grandma on my dad's side use to make our Christmas presents. We got some doozies, but I wish I could still get them.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Story!!
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? November usually. I always plan on starting early and shopping all year, but it hasn't happened yet.
14. Ever recycled a Christmas present? Probably
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas cookies
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Colored definitely
17. Favorite Christmas song? All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Not off the top of my head I even tried to go through the song. lol that is sad.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We have a star. I have had an angel and a santa at different times though.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning, but one on Christmas Eve
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Having to deal with people that have the wrong idea of what Christmas is about. (crabby ass people at work pretty much)
23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color? I like a hodge podge of anything and everything! Homemade is the best though!
24. What do you want for Christmas this year? Well this year I would like some snow. Seriously how do we not have any yet?

Christmas
How is everyone coming along with Christmas preparation? I have been slacking so bad this year. Not sure what my issue is. The Christmas tree is up, but not decorated. I do have a few Christmas decorations up, but still have some Halloween ones up, too! I'm a mess. Pretty much all Christmas shopping is done besides some stocking stuffers and little things. I think I am just in a slump this year. I work from home so I don't have any excuse. Hopefully this weekend I can get my butt in gear and get the holiday freak flag flying! I have plenty of Christmas things pinned on Pinterest does that count? LOL

Betty Crocker Fun-Da-Middles How To and Review
I receive a lot of free samples. I am trying to get better and actually review some of them! Well awhile back I received a free sample of Betty Crocker's Fun-Da-Middles. Now you know how a lot of places when they send you a sample it is a teeny little thing you can't really even use. Not this. They sent a whole box. I knew I had to do a review. What an awesome thing for a company to do! Anyway these are so good. They taste amazing and it is so funny if you don't tell anyone what they are first and they bite into them the look on their face is priceless! They are easy to make and taste amazing! I took pictures so I can do a step by step of how easy they are to make! Just a warning I may or may not have taken way too many pictures. :) Steps below are from the back of the box. All the pictures are ones I took. I did not get paid to write this I just wanted to share. :)
Ingredients you will need:
Handy dandy box pictured above (well the contents not the box) :)
3/4 cup water
2 eggs
1/3 c oil
12 paper baking cups (I did not have these) slacker I know!
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place paper baking cups in 12 regular size muffin cups. I didn't have any muffin cups so I just sprayed cooking spray in the muffin pan.
Beat cupcake mix, water, oil and eggs on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
Fill each cup approximately 1/3 of the way full with batter (about 2 T) making sure batter completely covers the bottom. Reserve remaining batter.
Squeeze filling pouch 20 times. (no I did not count lol)
Cut off corner of pouch at the cut line.
Squeeze a small "equal" amount in the center of each (use all filling) making sure the filling does not touch sides.
"Evenly" distribute the remaining batter among the 12 cupcakes, making sure the filling is completely covered.
Bake for 24 to 29 minutes or until tops are light golden brown. Filling will be hot (ty captain obvious) Cool 20 minutes* and remove from pan.
ENJOY!!! yum yum yum
*Disclaimer: I do not follow rules very well and took one of them out right away. I did not let it cool and I can tell you from experience the filling is hot. :) What can I say I am a rebel. Please follow all directions. hehe :)

Kroger Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies
Have you guys tried these cookies? They are so good! Seriously. There are so many chocolate chunks and they taste amazing. I honestly didn't expect much before I got them. I have tried store brand cookies before and they didn't impress me much. Well these are nothing like that. They taste like homemade and if you put some vanilla ice cream between two of them you have an awesome chocolate chip ice cream sandwich.
Have you ever tried these? Leave a comment let me know what you think! What was your favorite way to eat them? I also love them with some nice cold milk! Look at the chocolate chunks in these cookies! Amazing! I had to use a picture from the web, because somehow the pictures I took got deleted and these cookies did not last long around here!

Arsenic found in Popular Juices!
This may be old news, but I just got done working and brought up Yahoo to check my email and I saw this. How crazy.
Arsenic has long been recognized as a poison and a contaminant in drinking water, but now concerns are growing about arsenic in foods, especially in fruit juices that are a mainstay for children. Read more....
